Apple Tart Roses
Surprisingly, these gorgeous apple roses are suuuper simple to make! I saw this video tutorial shared by everyone of my relatives on facebook and thought i'd give the recipe a try!
The only ingredients needed were a sheet of frozen puff pastry that can be fund at any grocery store, beautiful and juicy red apples, cinnamon, powdered sugar for garnishing, lemon juice, and any sort of jam to fill the tarts with! Everything is listed in the video tutorial very nicely.
As for the rolling part, make sure the apple slices are super soft and flexible before trying to place them onto the puff pastry sheet. In the video, she shows how you can make the apple slices soft by simmering them on the stove for a few minutes with water and lemon juice so they don't turn brown.
I think the presentation of these tarts is sooo beautiful and I really would like to try them as a larger tart or apple pie.
